- Dr Penny Apostolaki is the founder of Strategy to Green. Her career spans more than 20 years in senior roles advancing the green economy in the financial, public, and third sectors. Her sustainable finance work encompasses senior in-house appointments and external advisory roles.
- Building on her experience and technical expertise, Penny helps Boards deliver ESG-underpinned investment and finance strategies that maximise business value and opportunities. While ensuring rigorous, balanced response to risks and obligations, the emphasis is on growth, resilience and impact as corporate drivers for a financially robust and nature-positive transition to Net Zero.
- Penny has directed new policy and regulation, held leading roles in UK, US, and EU delegations to intergovernmental fora and negotiations, and often contributes to international initiatives and public-private partnerships. Her published work covers green finance frameworks, portfolio decarbonisation, climate risks and adaptation, circular economy, and ocean sustainability.
